Nikon F6 Professional 35mm Film Camera

In January 2006, Nikon announced that the F6, along with the Nikon FM10, would be one of the only two 35mm film cameras that Nikon would sell. Branded as a professional use camera, the Nikon F6 camera packs in many automated features that are absent from the beginner model FM10. For digital SLR photographers looking to get into film, the Nikon F6 will be an easy transition as the camera closely resembles a Nikon digital SLR – except with film instead of a digital sensor. The Nikon F6 includes automated features such as:

  • Auto Exposure and Bracketing
  • Aperture Priority
  • Shutter Priority
  • Automatic Film Rewind
  • Automatic Film Advance, including Continuous High-Speed for up to 5.5 frames per second
  • Complete autofocus system

However, the Nikon F6 comes with a heavy price tag that most beginner’s will likely not wish to spend.
